# Manage Your Sent Messages

> Learn how to find sent messages, review delivery information, view message details and export your message history in Kero.

The **Sent Messages** page provides a record of messages sent through your Kero account, including direct messages, campaign messages and replies sent from conversations.

Use this page to find individual messages, check their delivery status, investigate failures and review message details.

## View your sent messages

1. Sign in to your Kero account.
2. Navigate to **Messages → Sent Messages**.
3. Your sent messages are displayed in a table, with the most recent messages first.

By default, Kero displays messages from the current week.

The table contains the following information:

| Column | Description |
| - | - |
| Sent Time | The date and time the message was sent. Click to open the message details. |
| To | The recipient's mobile number. Click to open the conversation with that contact. |
| Brand Agent | The agent used to send the message. |
| Ref | A reference associated with the message, including campaign information where applicable. |
| Updated | The date and time the message status was last updated. |
| Status | The latest reported delivery status. |
| Reason | Additional information explaining a failure, where available. |

Click **Refresh** to retrieve the latest available message information.

If your selected period contains more messages than are initially displayed, click **Load More** to view additional records.

## Find messages by date

You can change the reporting period to find messages sent during a specific timeframe.

**1. Open Sent Messages**

Navigate to **Messages → Sent Messages**.

**2. Choose a date range**

Select one of the available options:

* **Today**
* **Yesterday**
* **Week**
* **Month**
* **Year**
* **Custom**

**3. Review the results**

Kero displays messages for the selected period.

Click **Refresh** if you want to retrieve the latest available information.

> [!TIP]
>
> Use **Custom** when investigating a message sent on a particular date or during a specific campaign period.

## View individual message details

The Message Details panel provides additional information about a message, including a preview of its content.

**1. Find the message**

Locate the message in the Sent Messages list.

**2. Open Message Details**

Click the message's **Sent Time**.

The **Message Details** panel opens alongside the list.

**3. Review the information**

Depending on the message and channel, the panel displays:

* **Message ID:** A unique identifier for the message.
* **Brand Agent:** The agent used to send the message.
* **Mobile Number:** The recipient's number.
* **Ref:** The message reference.
* **Sender ID:** The sending name or number, where applicable for SMS.
* **Status:** The latest reported delivery status.
* **Reason:** Additional failure information, where available.
* **Charge Type:** How the message is charged, if known.
* **Message Preview:** A preview of the message content.

**4. Close the panel**

Click the **X** at the top of the panel to return to the message list.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Message details and delivery information may differ depending on the messaging channel and the information available from the provider.

## Investigate a failed message

If a message shows **Failed**, check the **Reason** column or open its Message Details panel for additional information.

The reason may help you identify an issue such as an invalid recipient number, an unavailable messaging channel or a provider restriction.

If you need assistance from Kero Support:

1. Open the message's **Message Details** panel.
2. Copy the **Message ID** using the copy icon.
3. Include the Message ID and any reported failure reason when contacting Support.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Not all messaging providers return detailed failure reasons. In some cases, Kero may have limited information about why a message was unsuccessful.

For more information about what each status means, see [Understand Message Delivery Statuses](https://kero.chat/help/understand-message-delivery-statuses).

## Open a recipient's conversation

To view the conversation associated with a sent message:

1. Find the message in **Sent Messages**.
2. Click the recipient's number in the **To** column.
3. Kero opens the conversation with that recipient.

This is useful when you want to review previous messages or follow up on a conversation.

## Export your sent messages

You can download your sent message list as a CSV file for reporting or further analysis.

**1. Select the reporting period**

Open **Messages → Sent Messages** and choose the required date range.

**2. Download the list**

Click the **download icon** above the message table.

**3. Open the exported file**

Kero downloads a **CSV file**, which you can open in Excel or another spreadsheet application.

The number displayed beside the download icon indicates how many message records are included in the list.

> [!TIP]
>
> Exporting your message history can be useful when reviewing campaign results, investigating delivery issues or preparing internal reports.
