# View sent messages and delivery status

> Find outgoing messages, check delivery statuses, investigate failures and download message records in Kero.

The **Sent Messages** page lets you review individual messages sent through Kero, including Direct Messages, Campaign messages and replies sent during conversations.

Use this page to check whether a message was delivered, investigate failures and view the message details.

## Open Sent Messages

1. Log in to your Kero account.
2. From the left navigation menu, select **Messages**.
3. Click **Sent Messages**.

You'll see a list of outgoing messages, with the newest messages displayed first.

## Understand the message list

Each row represents an outgoing message.

| Column | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Sent Time** | When the message was sent. Click to view its details. |
| **To** | The recipient's mobile number. Click to open the conversation. |
| **Brand Agent** | The Agent used to send the message. |
| **Ref** | The message reference. For campaign messages, this identifies the campaign and message. |
| **Updated** | When the message status last changed. |
| **Status** | The current reported message status. |
| **Reason** | The reason a message failed, when available. |

## Choose a reporting period

By default, Kero displays messages sent during the current week.

To view a different period:

1. Select **Today**, **Yesterday**, **Week**, **Month** or **Year**.
2. Alternatively, select **Custom** to choose your own date range.
3. Click **Refresh** to load the latest available statuses.

If there are more messages than currently displayed, click **Load More** below the list.

## View an individual message

To investigate a particular message:

1. Find the message in the Sent Messages list.
2. Click its **Sent Time**.
3. The **Message Details** panel opens beside the list.

The panel includes:

* **Message ID:** A unique identifier that you can copy when contacting Kero Support.
* **Brand Agent:** The Agent that sent the message.
* **Mobile Number:** The recipient's mobile number.
* **Ref:** The message reference.
* **Sender ID:** The sending name or number for an SMS message.
* **Status and Reason:** The reported message status and any available failure reason.
* **Charge Type:** How the message is charged, when known.
* **Message Preview:** A preview of the message received by the customer.

Click the **X** at the top of the panel to close it.

> [!TIP]
>
> If you need assistance investigating a message, copy its **Message ID** and include it when contacting Kero Support.

## Investigate failed messages

If a message has failed:

1. Find the message in **Sent Messages**.
2. Check the **Reason** column.
3. Click **Sent Time** to open the Message Details panel.
4. Review the status and failure reason before deciding what to do next.

For example, if an RCS message fails with **"Number is rcs disabled"**, the recipient's device cannot receive RCS messages.

Where appropriate, you can configure an **SMS fallback** in your messaging template to reach recipients who cannot receive RCS.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Delivery information depends on the messaging channel and the status information returned by the provider. Not every channel reports the same statuses.

## Download your message records

You can export the message list for further analysis or recordkeeping.

1. Open **Messages → Sent Messages**.
2. Select the reporting period you need.
3. Click the **download icon** above the message list.
4. Save the CSV file to your computer.

You can open the downloaded file in Excel or another spreadsheet application.
