# Switch between accounts

> Learn how to switch between Kero accounts using one login, without signing out or creating separate credentials.

If you have access to more than one Kero account, you can move between them using the account switcher.

You only need **one Kero login** to access all the accounts you have been invited to join.

This is particularly useful if you manage messaging for multiple businesses, branches, departments or customer accounts.

## How account switching works

Each Kero account has its own messaging configuration and resources, including:

* Messaging channels and Agents
* Contacts and Segments
* Message templates
* Campaigns
* Conversations and message history

When you switch accounts, Kero displays the information associated with the selected account.

> [!NOTE]
>
> You can only switch to accounts that your login has been granted access to. Your list of available accounts may differ from another team member's list.

## Switch to another account

**1. Open the account switcher**

Sign in to Kero.

At the top of the left-hand navigation menu, click the **account name** or the dropdown arrow beside it.

**2. View your available accounts**

A dropdown list displays the Kero accounts associated with your login.

Your currently selected account is indicated in the list.

**3. Select an account**

Click the name of the account you want to access.

Kero switches to the selected account and displays its information.

**4. Confirm the selected account**

Check the account name at the top of the navigation menu before sending messages or making changes.

This is especially important if you manage multiple accounts with different messaging channels, contacts or billing arrangements.

## How do I get access to another Kero account?

Access to another account is provided through a team invitation.

The person managing that Kero account must invite you using your email address.

What happens next depends on whether you already have a Kero login.

| Your situation | What happens |
| - | - |
| You are new to Kero | Follow the invitation's signup link and create your Kero login, including a password and multi-factor authentication (MFA). |
| You already have a Kero login | You receive a notification that you have been invited to another Kero account. The additional account becomes available through your existing login and account switcher. |

You do not need to create a separate login for each account.

## Important things to remember

* **Check your selected account:** Make sure you are working in the correct account before sending a message, uploading contacts or launching a campaign.
* **Account access is separate:** Being invited to one Kero account does not automatically grant access to other accounts.
* **One login, multiple accounts:** You can use the same email address, password and MFA configuration for the Kero accounts linked to your login.
* **Billing access is restricted:** Access to an account does not automatically provide permission to manage its billing. Billing is available to the account owner or a team member who has been granted administrative access by a Kero specialist.
